The image began as a hand-carved linoleum block, inked and pressed as a physical master before being translated to this sweatshirt. The carved lines remain visible — deliberate, imperfect, alive.
This bee lived in my front yard. I watched it return to the same native bee balm blooms all summer. I’ve photographed them sleeping beneath leaves at night, folded into the stems like the garden was holding them.
